The first day of September. The first day of school for my kids. Working from home with a quiet house and a break from the heat. The windows are open and the birds are singing outside. It’s almost here, the first of the ‘ber months. And even though the schedule gets busier with school, work and sports, I feel the pull to slow down and breathe deep. Entering my favorite time of year.
