Service Technician
Role Description

This is a part-time/contractor remote role for a Technician at Pixel Audio Video. The Technician will be responsible for tasks such as installing and configuring audio/video systems, troubleshooting technical issues, performing equipment maintenance, and providing customer support. The role may also involve conducting site visits and collaborating with the technical team remotely.

Qualifications

Audio/Video Installation and Configuration skills
Technical Troubleshooting and Maintenance skills
Customer Support and Communication skills
Knowledge of structured cabling and home theater systems
Experience with security and surveillance systems
Ability to work independently and remotely
Certifications in AV technology or related fields are a plus
Certifications (CTS, Q-sys, Crestron)
Knowledge of AV manufacturers & equipment (Control-4, URC, Crestron, Q-SYS, Sennheiser, Biamp, Sonos, Network Switches)
Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record

Responsibilities

Install Audio, Video & Security Systems
Perform installation tasks as noted in job summary based on project scope and directives
Identify and resolve technical issues with AV systems, including troubleshooting connectivity concerns.
Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring they can effectively use and understand AV equipment.
Adhere to all customer sites safety procedures

We get a lot of questions asking for price list.

There are several factors that influence the cost of mounting a TV, such as the television size, bracket type, wall type and labor. The national average to mount a TV is between $100 and $300

This is why we offer a FREE Consultation to make sure we assess where you would like it mounted and give feedback so that we can provide an accurate quote.

Here is a home theater we designed and installed.

7.1 channel receiver with a 75’ TV since they did not want a projector.

We will be replacing the 75’ with and 85’ in a couple
Months.

Have you noticed that once the TV hits a certain volume level it no longer gets any louder? In fact no one knows why it allows you to continue to increase the volume but the overall sound doesn't get any louder.
A simple "sound bar" addition can increase the overall sound.
We are great advocates of adding sound bars to enhance the overall experience when watching your favorite TV show and we love installing them!
