Even though we will truly miss the West Des Moines location day trips to Winterset are super fun! Good shopping and great restaurants...plus covered bridges!!

When we announced that our time at 1208 Grand Avenue was coming to an end, we were overwhelmed by the support, kind words, and memories shared by our customers, vendors, and community.
On that very same day, we learned that The Picker Knows had been voted the best antique and collectibles store by Des Moines Peoples Choice!. The timing could not have been more meaningful, and we are incredibly grateful and humbled by this recognition.
To everyone who has shopped with us, sold with us, attended events, and supported our small business over the years — thank you. Your support has helped make The Picker Knows what it is today.
While our chapter in Des Moines is coming to a close, our story is far from over. We are excited to announce that The Picker Knows Antique & Collectibles Mall will be relocating to beautiful Winterset, Iowa inside the old Ben Franklin Store on the South side of the Winterset square.
We sincerely hope you’ll continue this journey with us and make the short drive to visit our new location. Winterset is a wonderful destination for a day trip, and we can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new customers through our doors.
