Meet our Design Coordinator, Maddy.

She recently graduated from NDSU with a degree in Interior Design. With some serious AutoCAD skills and a great eye for design, Maddy helps bring our clients’ visions to life through detailed floor plans and realistic interior and exterior renderings. She also develops mood boards and design presentations, turning their ideas into spaces they’ll love.

Meet Kal!

Kal has over five years experience in interior design and new residential construction, and also holds a bachelors degree in Finance & Accounting from UND.

She brings order, clarity and a process driven approach to the Novel Team. She manages selections, addendums, and has a knack for an eagle eye on the overall build.

What she loves most is connecting with clients to learn how they live, then turning that into a home that works perfectly for their lifestyle.

Introducing our Principal Designer, Melanie Rudd.

Melanie is a visionary entrepreneur, with over fifteen years in commercial and residential real estate, interior design and construction management. Her portfolio spans from small residential projects to large scale commercial interior design work with an international hospitality.

Melanie is most passionate about helping Novel clients focus on how they want to feel and live in their space. She does this through a human centered approach that focuses on the person first and then the plan.

Her favorite part of the process is helping folks define their style which helps them overcome decision fatigue. Building a home is a dream come true for many and she loves helping others turn the page on their next big chapter of life!
