🍸Now Available🍸

This vintage portable cocktail bar was manufactured by Drexel Heritage and originally retailed by W. & J. Sloane, and from the minute I saw all of its clever original features, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

The exterior has been refinished in Benjamin Moore Mohegan Sage, while I kept the beautiful warm wood interior for contrast. I added smoky mirrored glass to the back of the lower cabinet and hidden rechargeable LED lighting above the upper shelves for the perfect little cocktail-hour glow. ✨

But the best part is everything this piece does.

The top slides open on both sides to reveal a durable laminate cocktail prep surface. Four lower doors fold open to expose the mirrored bar interior, and hidden casters underneath allow the entire cabinet to roll surprisingly easily while giving it that slightly “floating” appearance off the floor.

The center drawer is functional and newly lined with a woven-look paper; the two outer drawer fronts are stationary by original design. I also kept the beautiful original brass hardware.

And because it’s finished on all four sides, this one doesn’t necessarily need to be tucked against a wall; it can actually float in a room and be used as a true bar.

I’m genuinely surprised this one is still available.

Olive Suede is one of those pieces that just doesn’t translate as “painted furniture” in person. The finish was built in layers to create a soft, tonal suede effect — deep olive, subtle movement, and a completely different look depending on how the light hits it.

Add the architectural detailing, warm wood legs and brass hardware, and she is SUCH a good one.

And while she may technically be a server, I can see this piece in an entryway, dining room, living room, bedroom or tucked into the perfect little bar setup.

One of a kind and available. DM for details.

WHAT I SAW — Episode 1: The Reveal

Remember this one? 👀

When I first brought this piece home, I shared what I saw- the details that caught my eye, the potential I saw underneath the dated finish, and what made me think it was worth taking a chance on.

Well… here’s what I saw come to life. ✨

Sometimes the best pieces aren’t the obvious ones. You just have to be able to see what they could be.

And I have a feeling this little What I Saw series is just getting started. 🤎

(Update: SOLD)
A deep, moody finish. Original brass hardware. Brass casters that make it easy to roll wherever the party takes you. And then you open those doors… 🌿✨

The floral interior gives it just enough unexpected personality, while the half-depth shelf leaves plenty of room below for bottles, decanters and all the cocktail essentials. I also added rechargeable interior lighting to give everything a warm glow. The lights can be set to motion-sensor mode or turned on/off manually, and when they need a charge, they simply pop off their magnetic strips — no cords or outlets needed. Chargers included.

And those hinged top panels? Open them up and this little cabinet becomes a seriously impressive entertaining bar. The original laminate serving surface was kept intact, making it durable, easy to wipe clean and perfectly suited for mixing and serving cocktails — because a bar this pretty still needs to be practical. 🍸

Vintage bones, a little drama, and a completely new purpose.

📏 Dimensions: 39” long × 20” deep × 30” high
With top fully extended: 62” long

Color: Three Piece Suit by Benjamin Moore

WHAT I SAW 👀 | EPISODE 1

I’ve always thought one of the most fun parts of what I do happens before I ever pick up a paintbrush — spotting a piece that most people might scroll right past and seeing what it could be.

So I thought it might be fun to start bringing you along for that part too.

First up: this $50 Marketplace find. 🍸

The finish may not be doing it any favors right now 😂, but the details, the original hardware, the compact size and that flip-top serving space immediately caught my attention.

I have a vision for this one… and I think she’s going to be GOOD. 👀

Would you have stopped scrolling for this one?

I brought this one home fully expecting that I might paint it. But after a good cleaning and a few minor touch-ups, I just couldn’t do it. That warm wood, the woven detailing, the original hardware… it was already exactly what it needed to be.

And the storage on this one is 👌.

Available now ✨ Details in comments.
