Earth + Element

Earth + Element Elizabeth Di Prinzio continues to create handmade ceramics using the earth's elements to bring her Modern Rustic styled tableware into your home.

The mission is to weave ceramics into your daily rituals with a tea bowl or coffee cup. The mission is to weave ceramics into your daily rituals with a tea bowl or coffee cup that has been touched by real human hands.

“The boutique is for customers who care about where and how their products are made”

This small, but busy Los Angeles pottery studio hand-throws every single cup and honors each-o

nes unique wabi-sabi (imperfection). A brand that strives to focus on handmade products, with a conscious concern for the planet and the creatures we share it with. The relationship between dirt, water, and fire, and what can be made with the human hand is a spiritual experience beyond just pottery. A humbling realization of how important it is to protect these natural elements, starting with our very own community of artisans and farmers.

I used to watch sunsets. Now I feel them. Motherhood will do that to you, make everything slower, sweeter, and more sacred. Happy Mother’s Day to every woman doing the most beautiful, hardest thing there is 🤍🤍

April has been full and busy so far and a few meaningful custom orders fell into my hands. One of my customers just welcomed her baby girl, Isabelle, so as a surprise in her order I made this little kid plate for her to grow into, something to hang now on the wall, use later. I don’t do much custom work, but pieces like this… the ones meant to be kept for a lifetime are so worth it🤍🤍 I love my job so so so much 😭

A very special Galentine’s night at one of our favorite spots to host, the Goodthings Shop at .weho 💗

We toasted to long friendships and made new ones over pretty pastries and a pile of petals. The shop was filled with the most beautiful combination of imperfect pottery as the backdrop to ‘s stunning jewelry. Who doesn’t want a night of diamonds, flowers, and cookies?

I loved gifting each of our lovelies a little Wabi-Sabi vessel for their ikebana creations to take home as a memory from the night.

Happy Galentines to all the besties 💗❤️💗

2025 there are parts I will never forget a few I’d like to forget hahah. To becoming a full-time mom and a full-time business owner. Nearly shutting my business down (yes I almost shut the whole thing down for good). Waking up to hundreds of orders. To then seeing my Peony Plates on Netflix’s “With Love” not only Season 1 but surprisingly also Season 2! 2025 was equal parts chaos, magic, fear, and faith. Thank you for choosing handmade and for being apart of this crazy journey.

This year I saw so many small businesses close. It was heartbreaking. As we head into 2026, I hope we see more true collaboration where small businesses are respected, fairly paid, and protected… not drained of their creativity and profit. Because when small businesses disappear, so does the heart, the craft, and the stories behind our lives.

Small Business Saturday is one of the most important days of the year for independent shops. Did you know half of our entire economy is powered by small businesses and almost half of all workers are employed by one? How about women? Women now own 1 in 3 small businesses 💪🏽 and the number of mother-run businesses has grown almost 20% in the last decade, more moms choosing to create, to provide, and to keep showing up for their families and communities.

This year has been a storm for so many small companies with rising costs, slow seasons, burnout, unexpected financial setbacks, yet we’re still here. Still standing. Still creating. Still showing up with love in our hands. So today, let’s set politics aside and vote with our dollars.

And this holiday season, I’m honored to share that is offering our pieces in their lovely shops. A brand built and led by two powerhouse women who continue to lift up and champion small makers.

And if spending isn’t possible, your engagement means everything, a like, comment, share, or save boosts our work more than you know. From this woman-owned, mama-run studio… Thank you for being here. Thank you for choosing handmade and supporting a DREAM 🤍
