Did you know we have coasters and charcuterie boards?
These coasters are ones I made for my home. Early on in my marriage when my husband would ask questions like "Why do you love me?" the best response I could give was "Because everything!". It has become a family motto of sorts. All the little blissful moments, every stressful day, or messy rooms; I love my life because EVERYTHING.

This is what failure looks like! Each of these were failed product attempts. Either they didn’t engrave well at all or there wasn’t enough contrast. We went through a lot of work to find quality materials with beautiful results and learned lots along the way.

This is the first digital design I created for Heartfelt Engraving. Looking back, my ambition outweighed the stress of learning a new design program, overcoming limited digital design experience, and doing it as a full time mom. It was hard and still is! Today, I am pleased with how it turned out.

This depiction of the resurrected Jesus Christ was modeled after the original Christus statue. The 19th-century Carrara marble statue was made by Bertel Thorvaldsen. It is located in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark's Church of Our Lady in Copenhagen and was part of a larger commission including the 12 apostles.

I chose this depiction of the Savior because it represents the completion of the atonement. After suffering in gethsemony and dying on the cross he resurrected from the tomb making it possible for us to not only be resurrected ourselves but to be forgiven of our sins and strengthened through our trials.

He LIVES. He holds out his arms to us. He loves us. He wants us to follow Him. ❤️
