Ruler work makes quilting feel so clean and intentional, and the right ruler makes a huge difference.

The 8x3 TrueCut ruler is great for ruler work because it gives you enough length for smooth, steady lines while still being easy to control as you quilt.

Just a little sneak peek at something big coming at the end of the summer 👀

We’re quilting one block from our incredible Finesse quilt, and this project uses all 60 colors of Finesse Supreme Quilt Cotton Solids and all 60 colors of Finesse Classic Solid Thread.

Basically, it is a full color celebration in quilt form, and we cannot wait to show you the finished quilt.

Little swirls are one of my favorite free motion designs because they look fancy, but they are really just one curve at a time.

The trick is to keep moving, give yourself permission to make them imperfect, and let the design build as you go.

Honestly, the more you practice swirls, the more relaxing they get.
