My Father Raynor E Lawrence, the founder of House of Drapery Inc in 1967, passed away on Wednesday.

He dedicated his life to providing the best quality drapes he could for all the clients he did work for over 60 years. Although he was the work room for over 50 design firms, JC Penney’s, Sears and countless retail customers, his true joy came from doing work in the temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all over the world

He taught me the meaning of hard work and impeccable quality. He also had the motto that if we didn’t take care of our customers, someone else would. He never wanted to have that happen. He always gave 110% to every job and he didn’t play favorites with anybody. Social standing or even money was not his focus. It was all about the quality and customer service. I will forever be grateful to he and my mom for establishing a rock solid foundation upon which we could continue to build the company into one that is still considered very successful today. We continue his legacy of providing drapes for the temples around the world and feel it a private to work on our Father in Heavens Homes around the world. We hope and pray this legacy will go on for many generations to come.

We hope you will rest in peace Dad and pray you will continue to be the best installer of drapes in the spirit world. We will love and miss you forever.
