interior designer, antique dealer, and entrepreneur. After receiving her Masters in Interior Design from Parsons, she worked with Peter Marino in New York and Emily Summers in Dallas, designing and executing multiple multimillion-dollar projects, published in Interior Design, House Beautiful, and Met Home. In 1997, Rachel founded and built Circline, an international art and antiques marketplace. Circline aggregated over $1 billion of inventory from 2000 dealers across 5 continents to provide a centralized market for private collectors, interior designers, and businesses. Rachel left Circline in 2002 to travel around the world twice. Visiting over 100 countries, she analyzed international architecture and design while collecting sources from all corners of the globe. Excited to return to design she moved to Austin, Texas to start Rachel Mast Design, Inc.

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Assistant located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Design Assistant will be responsible for assisting with interior design projects, creating design drafts using CAD software, and creating graphic design content. The role involves communicating with clients, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with the design team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• 3-5 Years of Design Experience
• Proficiency in Interior Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Experience in Graphic Design
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Assist project leads with all phases of the design process, from concept to installation
• Support with proposals, vendor quotes, and managing lead time and specification spreadsheets
• Attend site visits, client meetings, and vendor appointments around the city and beyond
• Participate in vendor presentations and internal office meetings
• Create and update floor plans, elevations, and design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
• Use Adobe Photoshop to render design concepts and presentations
• Has access to mobile transportation

Plus:
• 3D Modeling/Rendering Experience
• Must send a portfolio and resume for evaluation.

This is a full-time salary position and in person position.
