Today's meet the dealer(s)... These guys have been around a bit. Previously they were in our store in West Liberty a couple different times, now they've followed us to Wapakoneta and have that mid century kitch vibe going! Meet Patti and Jason Meyers from Bellefontaine!

1. What first sparked your love for antiques/vintage finds? My momma was a collector and she'd take me shopping/flea marketing with her for as long as I can remember. 2. What’s one item you've sourced, you’d find hard to part with? My Rembrandt gazelle lamp (Patti) My Moss lamps (Jason) 3. Describe your style as a dealer in three words. Colorful. Kitchy. Glam 4. What’s the coolest or strangest thing you’ve ever found? Manual castration tool for cattle(Patti) Tension pole album holder for .99¢.(Jason) 5. What’s your favorite part about being part of the Moon City Modern family? The comradery. 6. If your booth had a theme song, what would it be? Bizarre Love Triangle by New Order 7. What kind of treasures are you always hunting for? Art Deco, vintage kitchen, mid-mod anything 8. What’s one thing customers might be surprised to learn about you? My age. 9. Coffee, vinyl, road trips, estate sales… what fuels your treasure hunt life? Flea markets, garage sales, P-funks and coffee 10. What do you hope people feel when they shop your space. Excited. Nostalgic. Intrigued.

Carley Shaffer:
1. What first sparked your love for antiques/vintage finds?
Spending so much time in the shop with my dad, where he collected old farmall tractors and just about any old tools and gas cans, they always fascinated me!
2. What’s one item you've sourced, you’d find hard to part with?
Definitely an 1860s leather bound book with original lithograph photos, it’s so pretty and belongs in a museum.
3. Describe your style as a dealer in three words.
Eclectic, strange and unusual
4. What’s the coolest or strangest thing you’ve ever found?
A real turtle shell! Or any of my weird clown stuff I love so much
5. What’s your favorite part about being part of the Moon City Modern family?
The community is so welcoming and encouraging! This is my first booth and I’ve gotten so much help along the way with any questions, and advise!
6. If your booth had a theme song, what would it be?
Tip toe thru the tulips with me by tiny Tim
7. What kind of treasures are you always hunting for?
Vintage kids clothes!
8. What’s one thing customers might be surprised to learn about you?
I pass bills all across the US making laws protecting troubled youth, foster kids, and adoptees!
9. Coffee, vinyl, road trips, estate sales… what fuels your treasure hunt life?
Definitely an iced coffee, with oat milk and an open sunroof, give me an adventure
10. What do you hope people feel when they shop your space?
As an artist I want everyone to feel inspired!

You never know what you will find. And it could be a one of a kind peice you never knew you need
2. What’s one item you've sourced, you’d find hard to part with?
I would have to say my peacock or Morticia Addams chair

70s meets Y2K

A lot of Disney and precious moments plushies

The atmosphere and friendliness

Y2K kids clothes and stuff from my childhood
8. What’s one thing customers might be surprised to learn about you?
I married my highschool sweetheart but we met in preschool and have been best friends since we are celebrating 9 years together this year and 1 year married with a newborn

The thrill of the hunt. You never know what you may find
10. What do you hope people feel when they shop your space?
