This kitchen by Regina Bilotta and Sarah Witkin of BILOTTA KITCHEN & HOME takes its cue from the Italian cafe: it’s not a space to simply pass through, but to pause and gather.

“PAUSA/ STARE” in the 2026 Kips Bay Decorator Show House draws on the cinematic coffee bars of 1970s and ‘80s Italy, with glossy lacquer, bold colors, and polished metal.

At the center, a sculptural banco pairs two contrasting quartzites, echoing the bar counters of Italian cafe culture.

Custom cabinetry in blue-green stained oak and lacquer surrounds it, with an expansive mirrored backsplash behind.

Our polished nickel hardware and dimmer switches finish the space, adding a beautiful contrast against the polished Patagonia quartzite.

Kips bay, we’re back.

Earlier this year, we worked with designers at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach, where our pieces featured throughout their schemes. Here, we’re sharing some of their spaces, and what they had to say.

This fall, we’re heading to New York, where Kips Bay Decorator Show House has been transforming homes across the city for more than 50 years.
We’re looking forward to seeing how our designs have been used and will be revealing more, soon.

In the Hollywood Hills, de Gournay’s Los Angeles residence is dressed in hand-painted wallpapers and hand-embroidered fabrics.

Throughout, our switches and sockets in bronze and antique brass sit alongside the brand’s designs, chosen to complement rather than compete.

We spoke with director Hannah Cecil Gurney, who says: ‘A beautifully made brass switch can function almost like a piece of jewellery within the room.’

Hannah often picks our antique brass finish, as it grows richer with age: ‘The fact that it evolves over time gives a room depth and authenticity. We are always interested in interiors that feel lived in, rather than static or overly perfect.’

Bronze, meanwhile, suits a different mood: ‘It can bring a wonderful sense of sophistication and restraint,’ Hannah explains. ‘It allows decorative wallpapers to take centre stage while still contributing richness.’

Rich, layered, and full of character, “The Minkwood Library” by James Hernandez was a warm, inviting retreat at this year’s Pasadena Showcase House.

Deep brown wainscoting, original oak beams, and soft upholstery enveloped the room, while original oil paintings and mementos collected during the designer’s travels added personality.

By day, the library was a peaceful place to pause. By night, brass accents and moody tones created a speakeasy-inspired atmosphere.

Our antique brass Milliner cabinet k***s and Elm cup handles complemented the rich material palette, adding the finishing touch to the bespoke cabinetry.

Rich walnut, reeded glass, and dramatic slabs of marble define “A New York Minute” – a moody retreat with sweeping views across San Francisco.

Designed by STUDIO ALEXANDER to capture the glamour of Art Deco interiors and the character of a New York loft, the space layered high-gloss finishes with deep hues.

An aluminium headboard provided a contemporary counterpoint, which worked with our polished nickel outlets to lift the dark palette.

The adjoining bathroom, “The Bay View Retreat”, had quartzite surfaces and locally made tiles. One of our polished nickel switches sat on a mirrored background, creating a clean, seamless look.

Both rooms were set within the Grand Victorian house chosen for the 2026 San Francisco Decorator Showcase in Pacific Heights.

The 1897 Victorian house selected for the 2026 San Francisco Decorator Showcase provided the starting point for Maker & Moss.

For their space, which they transformed from a walk-in wardrobe to an office, designers Briana Tunison and Matt Bissinger imagined the private quarters of a well-traveled 19th-century explorer.

Named “Study Abroad”, the sloped ceilings and draped textiles drew on the forms of tent architecture, creating a sense of movement throughout.

The room was layered with handcrafted details, including a custom chaise and table, small-batch ceramics, and dark wood accents.

Tones of desert clay, vibrant cadmium yellow, and savannah gold echoed the warmth of our antique brass switch, which sat on a clay-coated wallcovering, selected from the Folklore collection by OONSAI • Interior Pattern Studio.

When Amanda Henningsen designed her family home in Athens, Georgia, every decision was made with longevity in mind.

Inspired by the quiet confidence of English homes, she chose materials that would age beautifully and architectural details that would fit a refined, minimalist interior.

Our paintable Kew switches became an important part of that vision. "I chose the paintable switches because visual noise really bothers me,” she explains, “and the paintable switches allowed for that architectural continuity throughout the house."

For Amanda, good design isn't always about what stands out. "I don't think it's about what you notice all the time, sometimes it's about what disappears, and that's something I really liked about those switches."

In North Carolina, we celebrated another launch.

Our Brookfield pendant light made its USA debut at – the world-famous show that runs every spring and fall.

We also showcased our solid brass hardware, lighting, switches and outlets – all designed and engineered in England – and our team made many meaningful connections. Thanks to all who stopped by.

High Point Market is a fixture on the design calendar, and we’re looking forward to the next one in October, where it’s likely we’ll have an even broader offering for our American customers.

A kitchen to elevate the everyday.

“The Breakfast Club – After Hours” by Amy Lee McArdle reimagined the most practical space in the home – the kitchen/dining room – as a jewel-toned haven.

“Just because it’s an everyday ritual, doesn’t mean it has to be boring,” Amy tells us. The maroon quartzite stone slabs and mosaic flooring gave the space a material richness, finished with our matt bronze rocker switches and outlets.

“The Corston finishes are the last detail that pulls everything together,” explains Amy. They’re “solid to the touch and really pleasing to see”.
