Field + Supply weekend Spring 2026

A day spent exploring beautiful craftsmanship, meeting talented makers, gathering inspiration, and connecting with creative people doing thoughtful work.

We left with full camera rolls, plenty of ideas, and a cute photo booth portrait (last slide).

One of our favorite Hudson Valley traditions.

Meet Eric 👋

Eric grew up in Northeastern PA before moving to New York City after college, where he spent many years building a career across creative design, tech, and project management. After becoming a longtime Hudson Valley weekender, he eventually made the move full time to Saugerties, drawn in by the homes, connection to nature, and slower pace of life.

After crafting homes of his own and helping others shape theirs, he realized how deeply connected he was to this process. Co-founding Tend Interiors became a way to bring together his creative background, organizational mindset, and belief that a home should feel both beautiful and personal.

The best spaces tell a story. Rather than chasing trends, he’s most interested in creating homes that feel connected to the people who live there, and shaped by their experiences and personality. He loves spaces that feel alive the moment you walk into them: warm, inviting, and full of details that make a home feel unmistakably like theirs.

Outside of work, Eric loves traveling, hiking, exploring restaurants throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond, listening to music and growing his record collection, and tackling projects around his own home. There’s also a very high chance Taylor Swift is playing somewhere in the background during all of this.

Within the studio, Eric especially loves collaborating closely with clients as their homes begin to take shape. Helping people move from uncertainty to excitement and watching all the pieces eventually click into place is still one of his favorite parts of the process.

Meet Garrett 👋

Originally from the South, Garrett moved to New York City before eventually finding his way to Kingston, NY in 2015. A few weekends exploring the Hudson Valley was all it took to completely change the direction of his life. Today, he lives in Kingston with his son and still feels inspired by the architecture, natural beauty, and sense of community that first drew him in.

Before co-founding Tend Interiors, Garrett spent seven years working in Hudson Valley real estate, investing, renovating, and selling properties throughout the area. That experience continues to influence the way he approaches design, with a strong understanding of how homes should not only look beautiful, but support real life too. It also shaped the way he thinks about long-term value, and how thoughtful, lasting design choices can deeply impact the way a home feels and evolves over time.

He’s especially drawn to homes that feel personal, slightly imperfect, and collected naturally over time. Outside of design, he’s happiest hunting for vintage rugs he absolutely does not have room for, visiting wineries and antique shops, working in his flower garden, or spending a Saturday outdoors with his six-year-old son. He’s also the kind of person who will notice the lighting in a restaurant before the menu 👀

Within the studio, Garrett is passionate about materials, vintage finds, problem solving, and helping clients feel calm and supported throughout the process. His goal is simple: creating homes that feel warm, personal, and genuinely reflective of the people living in them.

Choosing paint colors from a tiny swatch almost never tells the full story.

For The Tailored Office, we made large paint boards so we could move the colors throughout the space and study them against the existing woodwork, changing daylight, and historic details. It’s a simple process, but one that makes a huge difference, especially in this older building where light shifts dramatically from room to room.

The earthy blue we ultimately selected felt rich, grounded, and completely at home alongside the original millwork and our client’s law volumes. Seeing the colors at a larger scale gave everyone the confidence to make a bold choice that felt cohesive with the architecture and existing materials.

There’s something especially rewarding about continuing relationships with clients beyond a single project. What began with the design of this law office eventually led to collaborating again on our client’s home renovation — a reflection of the trust and connection that make this work so meaningful to us.

For the Tailored Office, we focused on shaping a space that feels welcoming, personal, and reflective of the experience our client wanted people to have the moment they walked through the door.

We believe professional spaces can still feel layered, intentional, and full of personality — and that how a space feels is just as important as how it functions.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us and for the opportunity to help bring their vision to life.

Introducing the Tailored Office✨ Some workplaces ask you to leave your personality at the door. This one was designed to do the opposite.

Thoughtfully layered with warmth, character, and collected details, this law office renovation reflects our client’s personal style as much as it supports the work happening within it.

Brought in during the demolition phase, we helped shape the lighting plan, reception & waiting room layout, furnishings, and color palette, creating a cohesive foundation that supports both the architecture and the client experience. A deep, earthy blue envelops the principal office and existing millwork, bringing richness and continuity to the shelves of law volumes and original Victorian detailing throughout the space.

Working with some of the client’s existing furnishings and collected pieces, we refined the palette and layered in vintage rugs, brass lighting, and warm wood tones so the office feels curated rather than conventional and professional without feeling impersonal. The result is a space that feels aligned not only with the business, but with the person behind it.

We believe the spaces people spend their days in should feel as considered and personal as the homes they return to. This office now feels tailored, welcoming, and distinctly its own, a reflection of both the client and the experience he wanted to create for everyone who walks through the door.

Our favorite part of this work is the people. The spaces are what you see, but the real magic is the connection, getting to know how our clients live, what they’re navigating, and what they want their home to feel like when they walk through the door. We love helping clients take what feels overwhelming and turn it into a plan that feels clear, personal, and truly theirs.

The Ashokan Sanctuary was a special project for us. Not just because of the home itself, but because of the collaboration. From the very beginning, it was rooted in trust, honest conversations, and the kind of partnership that makes the process feel steady and enjoyable.

We take a lot of pride in how we work. It starts with listening, really understanding the story of the home and the people in it, then guiding each decision with clarity and care so everything comes together in a way that feels complete.

We’re so grateful to our clients for letting us be part of this one.

Part two of The Ashokan Sanctuary ✨ the room where the day unfolds.

Just beyond the living room, the family room becomes the home’s most flexible space. It’s designed for everyday lounging, easy hosting, and the kind of weekends that start to feel like a vacation the moment you arrive. A dining nook sits neatly in the corner for slow breakfasts and late-night board games, while a sleeper sofa, leather chairs, and durable upholstery keep everything comfortable, lived-in, and ready for family and friends to visit.

We started with a calm, neutral foundation and built warmth through texture. Jute underfoot, worn leather, woven accents, and layered lighting bring depth without feeling precious. Soft roman shades filter the light and add an easy, tailored finish, and with views of the woods all around and direct access to the deck, this room was designed to keep people together, indoors and out.
