I did have some help. But the idea, layout and some of the work is mine. I moved a lot of bricks, hauled a lot of sand bags and moved a lot of creek stone. I had someone cut the bricks, lay out a lot of the bricks and do the edging. Not one moment did I just sit by and watch.
We’ve been absent for a bit - for a reason.
One last huge project finally came to fruition in the last week. Years ago, a friend of the family gave me some patio bricks that they wanted to give away before they sold their house. Who says no to a free pile of bricks and huge project - not this girl!
Admitting that the project never did start on time I fast forwarded to this past year. The patio was started, but was interrupted quite a few times and waited to be finished. Of course not really having a plan down on paper, I thought long about how to get the final bricks down.
Never say never! If there’s an idea you will find a way to complete anything! (now to trimming back, pulling some weeds and a little decorating).
