Once In A Blue Moon Antiques & Collectibles Primitives, unique pieces, true antiques, vintage kitchen utensils,sporting art, fishing equipment, items of the old west and Native America. We love the hunt!

We are a retired couple who opened our antique business, Once in a Blue Moon, in West Yellowstone, MT, in May, 2007. We chose the name because we thought it represented what we hoped to have in our store...pieces that you may only see "once in a blue moon!" We thought it was a good harbinger that in May, 2007, on the last day of the month, there was a Blue Moon!! We have taken classes, attended

workshops, seldom miss Antique Roadshow, and both grew up with parents who loved and looked for antiques. We deal in antiques, primitives, vintage, sporting memorabilia, National Park souvenirs, sporting art, and advertising pieces. Our little store was the first Post Office in West Yellowstone. It was built in 1926 and has had few improvements; it is truly an antique!

Winter will soon be over and Dan and I will be headed back to West Yellowstone and our little Blue and Pink Antique store. Weather and Covid has kept us from doing as much "picking" as we like to do but our little store will be full of many antiques for you to see, and hopefully want! We look forward to seeing all of our friends and making many new friends, too!

We plan to open Memorial Day weekend. Please come in and browse and let us hear your "winter stories"

Winter is coming to an end soon....at least we hope!! We have had a good “season “ of picking.....found some unusual pieces, some great pieces and some pieces we think will be useful in anybody’s house and/or cabin. Looking forward to the move back to West Yellowstone the end of May. Hope to see lots of familiar faces, and lots of new ones, too!

The snow here is beautiful....no wind so falling straight down! We are enjoying watching it from our house. Closed our store 4 days ago and will open Memorial Day weekend, 2020. Now the fun begins to find “new, old treasures” to move in next Spring! Look forward to seeing all of you then!!

Enjoying great weather and lots of “foot traffic.” We have continued to bring into the store “new old pieces” every week....our sales have been good with many requests for certain items.
