I’m grateful for featuring my painting and my work in one of your articles. This painting is now part of a global art exhibition Embracing Our Differences and will be part of several other events throughout the year in Florida, USA. This piece means a lot to me—it reflects my personal and professional journey, shaped by the experiences, cultures, and perspectives I’ve encountered along the way.

While I’ve always been passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ( ), my MA in Global Cultures at King's College London has given me new ways to refine my thinking and approach. The conversations with classmates from around the world and the insights from King’s faculty have been inspiring, reinforcing the importance of open dialogue in shaping a more inclusive world.

Proud to Share: My Artwork "Diverse Yet United" Got selected for 2025 Global Art Exhibition in the US – A Bold Statement on Diversity & Inclusion!

A Bold Statement on Diversity & Inclusion Abroad!

Out of more than 10,000 entries from around the world, my piece was chosen to challenge how we think about diversity and inclusion, especially at a time when these issues are more relevant than ever in the global conversation.

"Diverse Yet United" is not just a piece of art; it’s a statement on the complexities of unity in a world where differences are often ignored or misunderstood. Through the universal heart symbol and vibrant colors, my artwork goes beyond superficial discussions about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and confronts the uncomfortable truths of our differences. ❤️🌍

As a Mexican-Canadian artist, I am proud to represent both Mexico and Canada in this significant space. My work reflects the tensions and debates generated by recent comments from North American politicians toward various communities, including the Mexican community. My journey abroad has shaped my perspective on unity and inclusion. This piece is a call for reflection, to question current narratives and push beyond tokenism to foster real and authentic change.

The exhibition will be available in the following locations in Florida:

📍 Bayfront Park, Sarasota: from January 19 to April 13, 2025
📍 Flora Wylie Park, St. Petersburg: from March 1 to March 31, 2025

This exhibition is also proudly listed as one of TripAdvisor’s Top Things to See in the area. 🎉
