Discover Our Story

WE STARTED, QUITE SIMPLY, LIKE THIS.

Friends believing that furniture was art. That customers would desire unique, statement pieces designed and created locally. That new and old could be featured together.

And you responded to our dream! In April of 2019 we launched Scrap Yard Surplus focusing on furniture and home decor sold online and out of our homes. After just a few months we realized that we needed dedicated retail space and we opened our first storefront and shop in downtown Westfield.

Our initial location consisted of three buildings; all which required substantial work to transform into workshops and a sales floor. We announced our first Pop-Up Sale scheduled for December 14-15, 2019 to introduce our new business to the community.
