A Santa Barbara recent remodel project was completely furnished in a warm contemporary style, to play up the home's best asset--a great room. New French oak floors, the tile clad fireplace, a custom wine cellar and a total master bath redo were some of the interior upgrades. A gravel back yard was replaced with a porcelain tile patio, planting beds, a custom water fountain, bocce ball court and more.

We love working on Santa Barbara homes! This contemporary one is ready for renovation. The vinyl planks had a very busy look, and are going to be replaced with wide plank oak in a natural finish, for a more calm appearance. The fireplace will be clad in 24 x 48 porcelain slabs with subtle graining from Walker Zanger, which will add great drama. The dining light fixture in the foreground will be replaced with hand blown glass irregular orbs, in staggered heights.
