Westland Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Missing Endangered Man

*Westland, MI – August 5, 2024* - The Westland Police Department continues its urgent appeal to the community for assistance in locating Michael Allan Plummer, a missing endangered person. Plummer, a recent resident of Westland who is believed to be homeless, was last seen on July 18th near Venoy and Annapolis Road.

Michael Allan Plummer, 45, is described as a white male, standing 6 feet tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has shoulder-length black and grey hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt and grey shorts.

Recent checks by the Westland Police at Plummer’s storage unit revealed that he is not sleeping there or using it in any way; he has not been seen at this location since July 1st. Plummer's acquaintances suggest he may frequent the wooded area near Venoy Road, north of Michigan Avenue. Concerns for his well-being are mounting due to health conditions that require regular medical attention and it is unclear whether he has been receiving the necessary care.
