✨ Keep your undertones consistent. If your hardwood has a warm, golden undertone, look for a tile with warm beige or cream accents. If your wood is a cool, stormy shade, pair it with crisp white or slate tiles.

✨ If you're transitioning between two different wood-look products, trying to find an exact match usually looks like a "near miss." Instead of matching the look of two floors identically, create intentional contrast.

Meet Michele Mann, one of the talented designers at Independent Carpet One ✨

With 24 years of experience as a Kitchen & Bath Designer, Michele brings a rare blend of creativity, precision, and technical expertise to every project. Her analytical approach and keen eye for detail help turn ideas into beautifully designed kitchens, baths, and living spaces tailored to each client’s vision.

Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in Michigan, Michele is excited to call KIBA Studio in Independent Carpet One her creative home. Outside of design, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband, cheering on the Chicago Bears during football season, and spending time with their two Scottish Terriers.

We’re proud to have Michele on the team and can’t wait for her to help bring more dream spaces to life.
