A clean, mantel-free plaster fireplace keeps the story focused on organic curves, soft light, and textural warmth. Sometimes the most understated details make the biggest impact.

Thank you Design_DecorMagazine for featuring our story, as told by founder & principle architect Lucien Vita, in the magazine's October edition!

Inside, Lucien Vita walks the reader through the central question that formed the foundation of Vita Design Group: What becomes possible when the people designing the home and those responsible for building it enter the conversation together?

The answer? A more thoughtful, cohesive process where challenges become opportunities, ideas are refined through collaboration, and every decision is guided by a shared vision.

Close the circle with interior design, and every project begins with the same understanding of the client and carries that intention from the earliest plans to the final layers of the home.

The result is our Golden Moment, again and again and again: sharing in the client's excitement as they walk into their dream home.

A vision realized. ✨ We're honored to be named among the "Connecticut Architects You Need to Know" in the October issue of Connecticut Cottages & Gardens.

Long before design-build became a familiar phrase, Lucien Vita imagined a different way to create a home, one where architecture, construction, and interior design work as a single discipline from the first sketch to the final detail. That idea still guides every project we take on.

Our thanks to the Cottages & Gardens team and to the clients who trust us with their homes.

Some of the best feedback we receive isn't about the finished home. It's about how our clients felt throughout the process. ✨

We're grateful our client felt comfortable enough to ask questions or request options, because it's important to our team to make sure every detail feels considered.

That kind of confidence is what we aim for on every project, from first concept through final walkthrough.

This year, Vita Design Group proudly celebrates 20 years of designing and building homes that are as individual as the people who live in them.

What began with a vision for a more thoughtful, integrated approach to residential design has grown into a team united by architecture, construction, and interiors, all under one roof.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created over the past two decades, and even more grateful to the clients, collaborators, and craftspeople who have been part of the journey.

20 years of design. 20 years of collaboration. And so much more to come.
