Deb O'Nair has a strong history in the New York City Downtown Arts Scene of the late 197'0's into the 1980's and beyond. As well as a career in the music industry as a performer and founding member of such legendary bands as: Tina Peel, The Fuzztones and Das Furlines. The "Lovely Lady Deb O'Nair" also performed/recorded with The Mad Violets, Kill Me, Karen Hudson River Band, Rudi Protrudi and the
Lady Killers. She also worked in the music business side of life as well at Club 57, The Mudd Club, Irving Plaza, Frontier Booking International, Privates Club, Andrew Cavaliere Management, Chrysalis Records, and Milan Entertainment. She has also worked as a conceptual "period stylist" for photographic shoots, film, video, events, parties and has produced concerts in the 1980's featuring bands that took the lead in creating the 60'Garage Rock Revival. While in her travels all over the world, her keen eye for the "cool stuff" that Pop Americana was made of, had her hands reaching into her small purse strings to grab it up to save and preserve. It is her homage to a period of American history that tells the story of "good times" in America after a long and devastating World War. Placing her interests in collecting handcrafted as well as factory made Holiday Kitsch Collectibles of the 1950's, 60's and 70's. Deb O'Nair has created and conceived "styled up" scenarios with her collections that have been photographed by the very talented commercial photographer, Susanne Wolstrom of Sweden.
