THE BIG DAY IS HERE! ❤️🔥🎶

After months of planning, making, building, organizing, and dreaming… we’re ready to welcome you to our home and studio for Rhythm + Raku Fest and 10 YEARS OF BEALE POTTERY!

Six incredible bands, six raku kilns firing, clay games, beautiful pottery, delicious local food, cold drinks, and a whole lot of wonderful people. We can hardly wait!

This photo says so much about what makes this festival special. ❤️ Behind the scenes, an incredible crew of volunteers has been working tirelessly to help us bring this celebration to life. From building and setting up to parking cars, firing kilns, running games, and keeping everything moving, we truly couldn’t do this without them. Please give them some love tomorrow!

A few things before you head our way!

🏆🔥 LET THE CLAY GAMES BEGIN! 🔥🏆

Whether you’ve never touched a pottery wheel or you’ve been throwing for 30 years, there’s a place for you in the CLAY GAMES!

We’ve got a whole lot of fun planned this year, and thanks to our wonderful friends at AMACO Brent, we’ve got some pretty incredible prizes to give away! 🏆

We’ll have four divisions throughout the day, starting with the kiddos and working our way up to the professional potters. Competitors will go head-to-head in heats, with four pottery wheels and a handle-pulling station ready for action. We’ll be awarding clay medals to our heat winners, and heat winners will have a chance to win one of our three grand prizes!

🏆 CLAY GAMES SCHEDULE

🏺 12–1 PM | Kids Games

🏺 1–3 PM | Beginners & Novices

🏺 3–5 PM | Intermediate Potters

🔥 5–6 PM | PROFESSIONAL CLAY GAMES

🏆 6:30 PM | Grand Prize Winners Announced on Stage!

AND WE’RE RAISING THE STAKES!

We’re giving away gift certificates to use at Beale Pottery, either online or in person together with all the fun loot from Amaco.

🥇 1st Place — $250

🥈 2nd Place — $175

🥉 3rd Place — $125

And can we talk about those PROFESSIONAL GAMES?! 🔥 Some seriously talented potters will be putting their skills to the test, and this is going to be SO MUCH FUN to watch! We’re hoping to see some friendly competition, a little showing off, and a whole lot of cheering from the crowd!

You don’t have to be a potter to enjoy the games. Come watch, cheer on your favorites, or jump in and give it a try!

A big thanks to Amaco Brent for supporting our clay community. Their generosity helps us make these games something special, and we’re so grateful to have them celebrating 10 years of Beale Pottery with us. ❤️

✨ 🔥THE CERAMIC SHOWCASE! 🔥✨

I have so many favorite things about Rhythm + Raku Fest, and one of them is getting to bring so many talented people together in one place. This year we’ve got a pretty incredible group of ceramic artists joining us!

Our pottery barn will be filled with beautiful handmade work from some seriously talented potters, each bringing their own unique approach to clay. From colorful crystalline glazes and wonderfully whimsical sculptural pieces to thoughtfully crafted functional pottery, there will be SO much to see, appreciate, and take home!

We’re thrilled to be showcasing work from:

✨ Meghan Yarnell | Meghan Yarnell Ceramics
✨ Bryan Wilkerson | Bryan Wilkerson
✨ Ryan Durbin | Ryan Durbin
✨ Andrew Krueger | Andrew Krueger
✨ Ryan Greene | Ryan Greene
✨ Erick Howenstein | Erick Howenstine
✨ Jesse Woodworth | Jesse Woodworth
✨ Eric + Milissa Beale ❤️

Some of these artists have traveled quite a distance to be part of our celebration, and we’re incredibly grateful that they’re sharing their work with our community.

If you’ve been thinking about adding something special to your pottery collection, finding a really wonderful handmade gift, or simply discovering an artist whose work you’ve never seen before, this is your chance!

Supporting working artists and bringing people together through clay is a huge part of why we do what we do. Having these folks here to help us celebrate 10 years of Beale Pottery means an awful lot to Eric and me. ❤️

Come wander through the showcase, fall in love with some beautiful pottery, and take a little piece of Rhythm + Raku home with you!

🔥 RHYTHM + RAKU FEST 🎃 OCTOBER 10th 🔥 WESTVILLE, IN 💃✨ These pumpkins are cracking us up… they each have their own little personalities, and we’ve all had a blast making, shaping, and carving them. 😅🎃✨

Which one is your favorite? 😍

We’ve finished just about 200 of these little pals, and we have 100 more to go! We’re so close now… 😀 Purchasing these little cuties is one of the biggest ways you can support the festival, and one of the most fun ways to be part of it. 🔥

Grab your advance tickets and pumpkins on our website before the fest. Once you’re here you can pick your pumpkin, glaze it, watch it go through a raku firing, and take it home with you the same day! 🔥✨

We’ve got good eats and drinks, clay games, a merch area and ceramic showcase, and live music all day long. Grab yourself a seat in the lawn, and join us for a really great day!
