It’s all in the details, as they say. And it’s so true. This small bookcase, the walnut shelves, the bead board at the back, the cookbooks and how they are displayed. It’s such a small detail and a part of the client. The functionality speaks more than it shows. And it’s such a pretty little thing too, amiright? Anyway, all this to say …. I love the details. They really make the space ❤️

Today, I’m sharing something new! An insight into my process. Before the pretty photos and site visits and fun samples, there’s the planning stages. It’s not as fun but for me, it’s where the magic begins!

So here’s something fun … My client visited the Pasadena Showcase House last year and fell in love with this closet (Image #1). She wanted to recreate it somehow in her remodel but within her budget. Challenge accepted!! We made it happen for her and she loved it more than the Pasadena Showcase House (Image #2). So what do you think? Let us know in the comments 🙌🏻

After & Before time!!
This has to be my favorite kitchen transformation yet. You know me … I love a good design challenge. And this one was a doozy!
Looking at the before images, it always surprises me how kitchens and how we use them have evolved over the years. It was no surprise this was a much needed update and it took our creativity to incorporate what the client wanted and maximize storage.
The end result is this beautiful kitchen that checks all of our boxes plus feels like it has been part of the home for forever. Love, love, love!! ❤️
