She has been a volunteer for Loaves and Fishes for many years. Loaves & Fishes is a client choice food pantry serving people in and around Garfield County in Oklahoma. In 2019, they distributed 719,000 pounds of food into 8,145 grocery carts to feed 5,452 neighbors living in 2,210 households. Wow! If you are ever looking for a place to donate, check them out! (they are in many communities but this particular customer is lives in Oklahoma)

From my FB mems today.

Y’all! How sweet is this reversible quilt? This darling quilt has three layers. The front and back were his baby blankets. The front is made from squares I cut from blankets his mama made and they are all boy themed!! 💙 Love, love!! The back is made from muslin which is a very lightweight, airy fabric. It’s perfect for a newborn but not durable enough for an active, growing boy! So, the extra layer gives it the durability it needed. I dearly love the way it came together!

Side note: I usually don’t do patterned fabrics on both sides of the quilt but the mama is family and I knew she’d be ok if it wasn’t perfect. I can not see the back side of the quilt when I’m sewing them so it can be a challenge. Still, I love the finished product!
