Sha'Ri -

Current redesign of the very first OC I made as a kid. Unfortunately, I don't draw as often I would like and feel my skills aren't up to par any more. But you guys be the judges. Although, I did about 30 different sketches because I wasn't happy with any of the poses.

First OC -
Found a hand full of OULD drawings of the very first character I every created named, Sha'Ri (from left to right 2000-05) and thought it was time for an update... I'll post the new one mañana :D
The character was originally influenced by a show my mom watched called Xena, and a comic I read called WildFlower.

Did a quick mockup of some exterior redesigns for my car and colors trying to decide on what to repaint it. I really love color shifts but ultimately I've decided on this 'Gunmetal Chrome'.
I will need to experiment a bit more and test. The base color has this look of black star dust with a battleship grey top coat. (Side note, I also need to finish the redesign and fabrication of my interior before I can paint) :D

Since it's the 60th anniversary of Star Trek this month I thought it'd be a good idea to post a ship wide update. I've been working on and off on this project for well over a year now. The armature structure is all figured out, I'm cutting up all the sections to be ready for printing, and there's still bit a greebling details to finish on the haul. But the full 3D model is getting very close to completion... well, for the first draft at least...

Just got my new design finish and up on Mayhem Marketplace and Etsy. The Gomu Gomu no Mi devil fruit from 'One Piece'
Love how the colors and the pattern came out - I need to make ALL the fruits... in time lol. I also made a second variation with the bite Luffy takes out of it from the anime.

Poké Patches! I was inspired from the Pokémon Fossil exabit at the museum I went to this summer and have been making these the past month.
They are finally up on my etsy shop, https://www.etsy.com/shop/SLNerdHerder
Starting with a small batch of Gen 1 fossils to see how they do and eventually I hope to make the following generations!

Dos Reinas - I've been slowly making a special Cat chess set for my mother. For her birthday this year I made the queen pieces and as Tigers. They're the largest of wild cats and thought they made the perfect queen bees. The pedestals and crown designs are based on Indian jewelry and the ruins of Ranthambore National Park.

Just got a new store front up and running! I eventually want to move away from Etsy, particularly because of their shenanigans from earlier this year. However, much in the same vein, Mayhem Marketplace is for the artists and makers.
