A while back I was gifted these adorable vintage quilt squares when my sister-in-law lost her grandma and her mom around the same time. They were both were quilters. I’ve held on to these pieces in the hopes of finding the perfect project to use them in. I love how this little purse turned out and I am so glad that I could showcase the beautiful work of the quilter who original pieced the squares. I’m having fun putting my new sewing room to good use!

Just finished my latest quilt. It’s a donation to a family friend’s breast cancer silent auction benefit. Pink bo***es for the win! I just love how this one turned out. I tried a new patchwork layout and it turned out way better than I thought. ❤️

My sister-in-law lost her grandmother and her mother this past year. Since she is not a sewer she gifted me a lot of their fabric and supplies. In one of the boxes of fabric were these two quilt tops that her grandmother never got a chance to finish. It was a privilege to finish them for her so that they could be used and loved.
