My journey as The Lone Star Stitcher began with a borrowed sewing machine and a bit of start-up money from my parents to make quality Covid masks. I then began making hair bows and headbands to try to use up scrap fabrics. I sold these at the Farmers Market where I found I could make so much more creative things: tea towels, co****le bags, heat therapy packs, darn-it dolls, etc.
Now my time is spent making Tshirt quilts and memory bears. Which. I. Love. The meaning behind every one of these projects gives me joy. I am very happy to provide quality craftsmanship and design to folks who care to keep their memories alive.
