The date marks a monumental milestone in women’s history—the certification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the constitutional right to vote.
But the story didn’t end there.
That victory was the result of generations of women who spoke up, stood together, pushed through opposition, and refused to accept that their voices didn’t matter.
And the work continues.
Women’s Equality Day is a reminder that equality isn’t something we simply inherit—it’s something we continue to build, protect, and champion. I’m thankful for my support system that continues to encourage me.
Every one of us is a part of that work.
Every voice. Every vote. Every woman who speaks up. Every person who supports equality and opportunity for others.
We can honor the women who came before us by continuing what they started.
Because progress happens when we refuse to stop moving forward.
