Sad to say, but we anticipate this historical home in being demolished next week. View of some of the uncovered original wooden shingles from the 1800s. A roll of unused Berber carpet and a teacher’s desk remain available. And, if anyone wants to take time to rip out painted shiplap board from the kitchen is welcome, free for the taking.

With a new generation comes new steps, a far cry safer than those of the generations before, and before that a hewn log, thanks to My husband, my dad and son, Daniel. These should last another generation or so, and most definitely my lifetime, at least until someone dozes the centennial home. Until then, it is my home. Each child's name and grand child's name sketched in. Daniel's and Kaylea's contain the date because he helped form and construct them. Constructed 10-04-2014. Good job, guys!
