🌸 So… I thought maybe I should introduce myself. 🌸
I’m Chelsey—the person behind Wilber Floral & Company. 👋
Most days you’ll find me somewhere between making flower arrangements, answering the phone, helping a customer, working on a painted banner, engraving something, ordering inventory, cleaning up a mess I just made, and coming up with another idea that I probably don’t have time for. 😂
If you know me personally, you know my brain pretty much NEVER shuts off. I’m constantly thinking…
“What if we offered this?”
“Would people like this?”
“I bet I could make that.”
“Ohhhh… I have an idea.”
And then somehow that idea ends up in the shop. 🤦♀️😂
I’m a wife, a mom, a business owner, a florist, and apparently a person who refuses to stick to just ONE thing.
Flowers will always be the heart of Wilber Floral. 💐 I absolutely love getting to create something for your happiest days—but I’m also incredibly thankful that families trust me during some of their hardest days. That part of this job is something I will never take lightly.
But somewhere along the way, Wilber Floral became more than flowers.
Tuxes. Balloons. Engraving. Candy bouquets. Painted banners. Custom signs. Gifts. Painting kits. School spirit stuff…
Basically, if you walk in and say, “Chelsey, do you think you could make…”
There’s a VERY good chance I’m going to say, “I can probably figure it out.” 😂
And that is probably the most accurate description of me.
I’m not a big company. There isn’t a marketing department, design team, customer service department and production crew hiding in the back.
A lot of the time…it’s just me. ❤️
Trying new things. Making mistakes. Learning as I go. Staying up thinking about the next idea. Wondering if people are going to like something I made. And doing everything I can to keep a small-town business growing.
And I think this is something that sometimes gets forgotten when it comes to small businesses:
Supporting us doesn’t always mean you have to spend money. ❤️
Every time you share one of my posts, like or comment on something I’ve made, tag a friend, recommend Wilber Floral to someone, tell someone you had a good experience, or simply say a kind word about my business—it helps.
Every share matters. Every recommendation matters. Every good word matters.
Word of mouth is HUGE for a small business like mine, and sometimes something as simple as sharing a post puts my business in front of someone who may have never known everything we offer.
So whether you’ve placed one order or a hundred, shared my posts, recommended me to a friend, stopped in to see what’s new, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines…
Thank you. Truly. ❤️
I notice it. I appreciate it. And I never want to take it for granted.
This little business means a lot to me, and so do the people who continue to support it.
So yep…that’s me.
Chelsey.
Florist. Wife. Mom. Small business owner.
Professional overthinker.
Constant idea-haver.
And the person who will probably say…
“Yep, I think I can make that.” 😂💐❤️
