Busy day chasing down a new hot water heater and the fittings. We were successful and I even got a discount. The cashier asked if I was military and just so happens my late husband served 30 years and I have my ID. So they gave me 10 % off. That was an unexpected surprise. Plus bestie told me I’ll get a tax break next year for buying a new energy efficient tank. So not horrible overall. The floor is going to be a little work but not awful. It’s all good! 👍 😊

Well I changed my mind😜 Honestly I liked the one I posted the other day better, but this one fits the country rustic feel of my area. Also it was half the cost of the other one. That cinched it for me as I really didn’t want to spend a bunch on a bench seat anyway. I rarely sit out on the front deck, it’s just basically a decoration.

So it’s midnight and my roommate and I are up working on an issue with the hot water heater. It’s hard to see in these pictures but for a few days I kept walking by here asking myself if the floor looked like that before ? As I was headed to bed tonight I said to myself hmm it looks worse 😳. Well dammm it didn’t take long to discover it’s the hot water heater that’s in a closet just on the other side of the wall. Soo we are draining it now trying to stop further damage. Tomorrow will be a trip to town for a new hot water heater and fittings. Meanwhile I’m not sure but the floor is going to need repairs. At the moment I’m not sure my homeowners insurance will cover any of it. Sometimes if it’s a maintenance issue that should have been checked they don’t cover it. We shall see. 🤷‍♀️

Crazy!! I’ve been searching for a new bench seat for my front deck. I finally settled on this one. But as always I’ll shop for the best price I can get. This same exact bench seat sells for anywhere from $149.00 to $449.00!! Folks if you’re not already checking I highly recommend really looking around when you see something you want. Dang that’s a big difference in price for the exact same item across several sites. 😳

Found a 4 leaf clover! It’s a bit bug chewed I hope that doesn’t affect the luck it’s supposed to bring. But then that would be just my luck 😜 Another frittata, yeah I make them often. Sausage, bacon, mushrooms, zucchini and of course cheese. ( who makes frittata without cheese )! 😳 Well I’m fueled up and ready to go tackle some more w**d pulling. Didn’t spray early enough so now I’m crawling around pulling by hand. Yuck 😞

Good Sunday Morning! These are volunteer snapdragons. They are popping up all over. I never planted any. My Rhododendron is blooming. I worked outside all day yesterday moving from one project to another. By days end I was in need of the heating pad on my lower back! But I finished my Little Rock border project! It was a bit more work than I pictured in my head. 😳 Enjoy your Sunday everyone 👋☀️
