Today was a truly momentous occasion for my husband, Joe! I am so proud of all he has accomplished thus far and for stepping up and accepting that he needed help and then getting it!

In his lifetime, he has had to deal with more pain, anguish and mental struggles than anyone I’ve ever encountered.

In his 23 years active duty he deployed over 10 times to various combat regions. Saw and did things that will haunt him for the rest of his life. Left his family to spend years in various deserts in very dangerous situations all to protect them!
He has had the same amount, if not more pain in his life outside of the military! All of which, undeserved and all which he has nothing to be ashamed of!

His strength through all of this is commendable! He has always puts the needs of others before himself and I’m thankful he is finally putting himself first. He is my hero and I’m beyond honored to be his wife.
To our family and friends who have stayed by his side and supported him through everything he’s gone through over the years, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You are all genuine, wonderful people and my wish is that everyone could have friends and family like that!

To you Joe, Congratulations! I love you!
