Created the first year I was dyeing in 2016, Pheasant Ruff is the star of the Pheasant Collection - a full collection based on one picture (at the end). My customers cannot get enough of this beauty.

Take a look at that band of color right underneath the pheasant’s white neck band - the ruff of his neck. That small band is what this color is based on.

I have a sample that travels with me that uses Pheasant Ruff in the colorwork yoke, Lovebirds Sweater by Kate Oates. I’ll show off that beauty later this week.

Such a confusing moment… sadness, excitement, memories…

The final to-do was checked off today as The Flying Needles sign came down this morning.
