Don’t panic! Different dye lots have never stopped me from working on a project.

When your original skein is about the size of a fist, start alternating it with the new dye lot every round until the original skein runs out. Then continue with the new skein.

I’ll share the results soon — follow us to see how it turns out!

I (Marina) have already picked my project and will be knitting the cardigan version. I love buttons, so choosing the cardigan was easy! I like having the option to wear it buttoned up or open depending on the weather and what I’m wearing. My yarn choice is HiKoo Sueno Tweed in Comforting Cream (photo 2) — a soft, versatile neutral that I think will show off the lace details beautifully. See all colors on Photo 3.

My other favorite yarn for this project is Spiral Grain by Urth Yarns. The colors on photo 4 two are just dreamy.

In our corner of Williamsburg, mornings look like this: keys in the door, lights on, and a soft start to the day.

Just a little outside the downtown chaos — with hand-dyed yarn, a knitted cat in patriotic outfit, and an emotional support chicken waiting to greet you.
