Ten years ago, Yarn Matters opened its doors with a dream: to create a place where people could find beautiful yarn, learn new skills, and share their love of knitting and crochet.

Over the past decade, Yarn Matters has been a place where beginners learned their first stitches, where projects were planned and finished, where ideas were shared, and where friendships were formed.

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary, and we would love for you to join us!

We are incredibly grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, taken a class, joined our stitching groups, shared a project, or simply stopped by to say hello. You are the reason Yarn Matters has grown into the community it is today.

To celebrate, we have some special treats and surprises planned:

– An exclusive 10th Anniversary colorway dyed by Hedgehog Fibres
