Hello friends!

For you who are new to us, welcome! We think you're in for a treat!

Our restaurant is chef owned and operated. That means our chefs write and cook everything on the menu, and most refer to us as a "scratch" kitchen.

It means the focaccia is made with our 115 year old sourdough starter.

It means our pastries are made with European style butter.

It means we purchase fresh and as locally sourced as we can.

It means long hours, but we love what we do and how we put our spin on things.

This means we don't have regular bacon and pancakes. It's candied bacon and baked French toast. We don't have omelettes and regular sausage, we have the Southwest egg scramble and chicken breakfast sausage.

Our jam is homemade and changes regularly, and our housemade cinnamon syrup is incredible (we offer it as an option along with Michigan maple).

We have a Thursday - Friday menu, and we have a weekend menu. Why? Because we exist in a small town, and we've learned to adapt.

So, please take a seat at our table, enjoy a pastry and an espresso drink made from beans from the 517 Coffee Company, and we will give you the best experience we can.

While not usually necessary during the week, we accept call-aheads 15 minutes before your arrival at 517-242-1810.
