It's almost Advent and time for church fairs. The first of the season that I'm attending is a pumpkin patch at Our Lady of Atonement. Join me on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 10am-4pm. I'll also have 5 beeswax pumpkin candles dyed orange and smelling of pumpkin spice. These pumpkin candles have nearly a pound of wax and will burn for a long time.

I created Ave Maria Crafts because I wanted high quality, long burning Advent candles for my own home. We like to burn our Advent candles during every meal and paraffin candles burn very quickly. Paraffin is made from petroleum by products and releases toxins into the air. That led me to beeswax, which is long burning, purifies the air, and looks beautiful.
