My clients are about to have their house lifted to replace their foundation. The entire basement is going to start from scratch and be a complete transformation. They had a big wish list for down here, but I think I was able to get them every bit they wanted, including a wet bar, workout space, & laundry room. šŸ

This project was such a fun one! My clients have plans to replace their foundation this Fall and figured, why not redo the kitchen at the same time? Iā€™m so grateful they reached out because I had such a great time meeting with, discussing, and presenting the final product with this sweet couple. Iā€™m loving this mini walk-in pantry, dark navy island, coffee bar, & cool-toned touches. Definitely looking forward to seeing it in construction mode later this year!

Iā€™ve been playing around with rustic stains and patterned flooring for a while now and I have to say, Iā€™m really liking it! Small spaces are some of my favorite to design! What are your thoughts?

Kitchen. Goals. šŸ˜
I love being able to have some free time to create something from scratch. No architectural plans, no list of ā€œmust-havesā€, & no budget. This kitchen is my current all-time favorite featuring two-toned cabinetry, white arabesque backsplash, Calcutta Marble quartz, and fun appliances. Letā€™s switch things up and do this in your home!

Hereā€™s a sneak peak into a project in the works. Powder rooms are easily one of my favorite rooms to design. The small space allows for something fun, such as funky wallpaper, decorate floor tile, or a unique light fixture.

Hello everyone! My name is Mary Kathryn. Iā€™m an interior designer, girl boss, wife to Noah, momma to Margo, coffee enthusiast, and Midwesterner at heart. To say Iā€™m excited about starting my own business would be an understatement. Iā€™ve been in the design industry for over a year and absolutely love every aspect. I would describe my interior style as ā€œnot-too-modern farmhouse with a twist of bohoā€. I aspire to be (I mean, donā€™t we all?) and to become the best designer I can be for my clients. Iā€™d love to get to know you! Tell me about yourself in the comments below. šŸ‘‡šŸ»

Such a fun project! My client came to me wanting a design for the kitchen and laundry room for their new construction in Eastern Iowa. The sage green cabinetry with matte black hardware, wood elements, and quartzite countertops were just the beginning! With the overall functionality of the space and fun accessories, I was able to provide them with exactly what they were looking for from the start.
