A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out for our Food Truck Day! ❤️

We were so fortunate to have such a great crowd of wonderful folks. We loved getting the chance to show you around the showroom, visit with you, and answer your questions about furniture, layouts, décor and more.

As a team running a small business, we know how much that personal touch matters. We also know there’s something pretty valuable about being able to actually see, touch, sit on and imagine furniture in your home before you buy it. That’s why we’re so proud of our large showroom—and judging by the response we had, we know you appreciate it, too!

Will there be another Food Truck Day?

✨ Furniture Plus Team Member Highlight: Shari

Furniture sales wasn’t exactly where Shari pictured herself—but five years later, it turns out it was a pretty great fit!

With a background in wedding design and a natural eye for color, scale and how a room comes together, Shari loves the creative side of helping customers with their homes. But she’ll be the first to tell you: HER style doesn’t matter...YOURS does. 🙌🏼

Her first questions are usually about YOU. What colors do you love? How do you use the room? What’s your style? Who lives there? From there, she can help narrow down the size, colors, fabrics and pieces that make sense for your space.

And there are plenty of choices!

Beyond our large showroom, Furniture Plus has access to many more pieces that can be ordered in, along with custom options where you can choose fabrics, colors and configurations.

For Shari, that variety is part of what makes the job so much fun. One day she may be helping create a farmhouse-inspired room, the next something traditional, contemporary or completely unique.

Five years in, she still gets to design something different every day—and help each customer make their home feel a little more like them.

If you've had furniture delivered from Furniture Plus in the last 14 years, chances are you've met Rick. 🚚

From unloading trucks and warehouse work to helping on the sales floor and translating for customers, he's worn a lot of hats over the years.

What does he enjoy most? The deliveries.

"I'm a people person. I love seeing customers' beautiful homes and maybe stealing a few design ideas along the way!" 😄

Rick takes pride in making sure every piece is placed just right and every home is treated with care. Whether a delivery is straightforward or feels like a giant game of Tetris, he believes the details matter.

"We want to do our job 100% and represent the store well. We're professionals at our craft."

One thing he especially appreciates is the teamwork behind every delivery.

"Everyone pitches in. We work together to keep customers happy, because a happy customer is a repeat customer."
