Late night finish!!! Headed for the Daniel’s County Fair trade show in Scobey MT tomorrow morning….. early🤣 and since I only have 1 piece to take I worked on finishing 1 more!!

This is an incredible Peerless Maple shelf. Some
Old and refinished, and some new! The shelves are new while the shell is original. Topped with a tiger oak top. Lined by stamped leather and latigo on the outside doors and lined by leather on the inside doors.

1 of a kind. Useful. Accent piece while being subtle.

“The chest of many colors” what an old soul revived!!! Our furniture is a representation of our styles. Who we are and how it “fits” us. This dresser from what I can gather was an adult dresser (first coat white) then went through at least 1 little boy if not more (blue and red paint with stickers) and then the little girls family I bought it from (pearl pink and white). I like natural. I exposed the dramatic wood.
This old girl was completely striped, dismantled and once I could see the wood Isanded. Sanded. And sanded…….. more to get the paint off. Sadly I couldn’t get all the white off. I found specs here and there and decided that’s going to go with the dresser. It’s history. And then I white washed it to show the original wood grain and beauty. Rubbed brass concho k***s were added as well as a view of horses near an old barn (every real country girls dream 🥰) and for the big story…… I. PAINTED!!! The image is blended in to match the border of the drawers with rubbed brass tacks to emphasize the rustic nature of the dresser. $350. If you see this post in any group, delivery/meeting up is a possibility.

I see a reading nook (with rocking chairs that are also available) Im a big picture and keepsake keeper….. I see that. Entertainment center, would hold a tv and books/keepsakes. Great for a small space!! Possibilities are endless!!

A late night chunky blanket finish was a must! Weather is turning nice and it’s time to move onto outdoor activities🤣🤣. 68”x90” will fit a full bed or drape nicely over a twin bed. Yarn bee chunky yarn was used, I can’t describe this blanket, it’s surprisingly light weight, but not, not overly heavy either. Not airy, but not unbreathable. Feels like you crawled into the most cozy oversized sweater.
