Guess I'm doing deck work next few days, instead of art. Any helpers out there?
Good at decks and need furniture?

Iowa devotes 36.4 per cent of its entire land area to corn, a bigger share than any other state, and the map shows how quickly that figure falls away from the heart of the Corn Belt. Illinois follows at 29.7 per cent and Indiana at 23.6 per cent, while states of comparable size on either coast barely register at all. The scale behind those percentages is easier to grasp in acres, with the USDA putting Iowa's corn crop at 13.2 million acres out of roughly 29.9 million acres of farmland in the state.

On the search for furniture, I try and locate good quality pieces. Obviously I look for solid wood...it's more than that.
I avoid furniture that is assembled with staples/nailguns.
If I have to take it apart with a screwdriver, that's perfect.
If there is a thin piece of plywood between the drawer areas,
I'll buy it every time.
I started repurposing furniture in an effort to create affordable furniture that were unique.
I try to avoid what I call 'beaver puke'.
Vinyl coated pressboard crap.
Can't always avoid it...I try.

Thinking of not using the swivel top.
This functions better without.
Top is flight chart
(illiamna/homer/afognak)
Roll out tray is also flight chart
(denali/healy/delta)
Inside bottom is bathymetric chart of Block Island Sound, Rhode Island
The door on this one is still in process.
So far it's 2 days work.

Inside base is bathy chart.
Door front is in process and woven.
Pull tray is flight chart.
Getting the top underway now and undecided about the
2nd swivel top finish.
