Adrak Masala Chai!❤️
A perfect tea to enjoy on a cold day. ❄️
Adrak masala chai is delicious and full of awesomeness with great health benefits.
✨Ingredients: Adrak Masala Chai (2)
1 cup water
1 1/2 cup whole milk
1 inch piece grated fresh ginger
1 small stick cinnamon
3 cloves
3 cardamon pods, cracked
3 to 4 tea bags, or 2 to 21/2 tsp loose black tea
sugar to taste
Method:
In a saucepan boil water and add grated ginger, cloves, cinnamon and cracked cardamon . Let it boil 2-3 minutes. Then add milk and tea bags or loose tea. Simmer and let it boil for 10 mins or till the desired color.
Strain and serve hot with sugar according to your taste.

A very traditional and a delicious dessert combination. Puran puri’s are my childhood favorite and I enjoy it most when my mom makes it for me!😊 Kheer is easy to make with just three simple ingredients milk, rice and sugar. However, right proportion and half and half milk matters for a rich and creamy kheer. I always add additional ingredients like saffron, cardamom powder, condensed milk and almond powder.
My wonderful mom made this puri and kheer topped with edible silver and they were amazing! ❤️

First time tried making lamb shank biryani and it was delicious. The shanks were melt in a mouth delicacy. However, I will prefer biryani cooked with lamb cubes.🙂
Biryani has always been an eternal embodiment of delicacy and one of the most delicious and flavorful food ever existed. There are a variety of biryani’s and each one will take you to a different world. My favorite is hyderabadi kachchi yakhni biryani. It is believed to have originated in the kitchens of the Nizam of Hyderabad, as a blend of Mughlai and Iranian cuisine.The kachchi dum biryani is prepared with kachcha gosht(raw meat) marinated with spices overnight and then soaked in hung curd (dahi) before cooking. The marinated raw meat is layered in the bottom along with the top layer of fragrant half cooked basmati and cooked "in dum" style either on stove or in oven after sealing the lid well. It requires meticulous planning, attention to time and temperature to avoid over-cooking or under-cooking the meat and rice. If you got it right then this is the best dish in the world.

Schezwan Sauce!👌
Nothing beats a homemade Schezwan sauce. Great for noodles and rice. So good. So spicy!!🌶

Ingredients:
25 Dry Red Chillies
10 Dry Kashmiri Chillies
1 ½ tsp, Minced garlic
1 tsp, Minced ginger
5 tbsp, Sesame oil
2 tbsp, Ketchup
1tbp, Vinegar
1 tbsp, Soya Sauce
1 tsp, Brown Sugar
Salt to taste
Recipe:
· Soak red chillies/Kashmiri Chillies in water for 10 mins.
· Now boil chillies for 20 mins in same water.
· Let them cool and then blend. Add little water as needed to make paste.
· Take a small pan and add 4 to 5 tbsp sesame oil.
· Add minced garlic and ginger and saute for 2 mins.
· Now add the chilli paste and cook for 5 mins.
· Add 1 tbsp Soya sauce, 1 tbsp Vinegar, 2 tbsp Ketchup, 1 tsp brown sugar and salt to taste.
· Let it cook for another 5 mins on low heat or until the oil leaves side.
· Store in glass container and refrigerator. It will be good for upto a month.

Schezwan Noodles!😋
These are my most preferred noodles due to its spicy taste and unique garlic flavor. I always prefer making them with homemade schezwan sauce.
-
Ingredients:
Noodles – 16oz to 20 oz
Chicken cubes - 1 lb
1 bunch finely chopped spring onions
½ bell pepper green, finely sliced
½ bell pepper red, finely sliced
¼ cabbage – finely chopped
½ red onion, finely sliced
½ cup shredded carrots
¼ tsp ginger, minced
2 to 3 cloves, minced garlic
¼ tsp black pepper powder
¼ tsp powdered white pepper powder
1 to 2 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp vinegar
½ teaspoon ajinomotto salt(chinese salt)
Sesame oil – Sauteing
Salt to taste
1 tsp Homemade Schezwan sauce or according to your taste. Recipe to follow.

Recipe:
Add few drops of oil and salt in water and boil noodles as per instructions.
·Boil chicken cubes in a saucepan with ¼ tsp oil, ¼ tsp garlic-ginger paste, salt, black pepper.
· Keep aside. In a shallow pan or wok, add 2 tbsp oil and all veggies.(except spring onions)
· Stir fry with some salt (All the veggies should be half cooked and crunchy). Keep them aside.
· Now in the same pan add 1 tbsp oil and minced ginger, garlic and saute for a minute.
·Add the veggies and mix them for another minute. Now add chopped spring onions.
· Add boiled chicken, ajinomoto salt, schezwan sauce, white & black pepper powder in the pan and saute them well for 2 to 3 minutes.
· Now add the noodles and mix them well. Add soy sauce and cook for couple more minutes. Garnish with some spring onions and serve hot.

Tomato Chutney!!😋😋
It is the first thing I make sure to make enough of when tomatoes are in season, especially from my home garden. I can never imagine running out of this chutney:)
It is a traditional condiment made with tomatoes, spices and herbs. I enjoy it with rice, sandwiches, fritters, parathas. It tastes simply delicious with just anything.👌

Ingredients:
6 Tomatoes, medium chopped
1 medium onion, diced
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1// tsp turmeric powder
Few Curry leaves
2 tbsp Lemon juice or 1 tbsp tamarind paste
2 Dried red chillies chopped
3 Green Chillies chopped
3 Garlic pods
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds (optional)
Oil
Salt to taste

Directions:
Take a shallow pan and add 2 tbsp oil. Now add diced onion and ginger garlic paste.
Sauté for couple minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, green chillies, lemon juice/tamarind paste,few curry leaves and salt to taste. Adjust spices according to your taste. I like my chutney extra spicy!
Sauté well for 5 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water. Lower the heat and cover the lid.
Let it cook untill the tomatoes are soft, and the oil leaves the sides. You can blend it just a little using hand blender or leave it the way it is.
Once the chutney is ready, it’s time for the most important part that is tempering/tadka.
Take a small pan and add oil or ghee. Now add 3 chopped garlic pods, mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves. Sauté for couple minutes and pour it over the cooked tomato chutney.
It can be stored in refrigerator for few weeks.

Eid Mubarak!!🎉
IP Chilli Lamb Shanks with cashew rice and tomato chutney is an amazing food combination for eid!😋
Instant Pot

Ingredients:
3 lamb shanks
2 tbsp Ghee
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp roasted crushed red chillies
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or Kashmiri Chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 medium diced onions
3-4 garlic cloves, sliced
3-4 green chillies
3/4 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
Mint leaves
Salt to taste

Directions:
-Wash the lamb shanks and pat dry well.
-Marinate with ginger-garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, coriander powder. Set aside for atleast an hour.
-Set the instant pot to sauté mode.
-Add ghee, onions, garlic cloves and sauté untill onions are translucent.
-Add the lamb shanks, garam masala and 1tsp crushed red chillies.
-Sauté well for 5 mins.
-Then add 6 to 7 cups of water. Check for salt.
-Set the instant pot to High Pressure mode.(22 mins)
-Let the pressure release naturally.
-Now take the lamb shanks out very carefully.
-Take a shallow pan and add 2 cups of lamb stock from the IP and then add the lamb shanks.
- Cook on medium heat.
-Add 1 tsp crushed red chillies. You can add more if you want very spicy.
- Check for salt and add as needed. Add lemon juice and fresh mint leaves.
-Pan roast well untill they are well done and oil leaves the sides. It will take about 5 to 10 minutes
- Delicious and juicy lamb shanks are ready to be served.
-Use the left over lamb stock to cook rice (12 mins on rice mode in IP, 1 cup stock for 1 cup rice) or just enjoy as soup or lamb dressing.

1 - ginger ale
1 - 7up
4 limes
1 cup concentrated lime juice
Fresh Mint according to your preference.

Chaliapin Steak!
I love trying new cuisines and this one was definitely one of the best steaks that I ever made. This is a unique steak exclusively known in Japan. The dish uses lots of onion for marination and was originally devised to make the meat extra tender and delicious. The thoroughly sauteed onion goes great with this steak. I did improvise the recipe a little to suit my family’s taste.🙂

Ingredients:
1 Beef Steak .
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Butter
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Black Pepper .
1/4 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste .
Side of Brussel sprouts and lettuce

Directions:
-Cover your steak with plastic wrap. And pound the meat with a rolling pin.
- Remove the plastic and marinate with olive oil, salt, pepper, soya sauce, ginger garlic.
- Place the steak in big ziplock bag and add all the finely chopped onion..
- Rub the onions well over the steak. Seal the bag and refrigerate overnight or for an hour.
-The enzymes in the onion will break down the proteins, making the meat extra tender.
- Take a shallow pan and add butter.
- Take the steak out and separate the onions.
- Place the steak in the pan. Cook on low heat for 5 mins on each side or based on your preference.
- Now increase the heat to high and sear the steak for 3 mins on each side.
-Now, both sides are deliciously browned. Remove and place the steak onto a plate .
- Now add the marinated onions and sauté untill they are caramalized. Serve with steak and enjoy!!👌

This fragrant, melt in mouth dum ka kheema is a delicious and famous hyderabadi recipe that is sure to make your taste buds happy! There are many versions of making dum ka kheema. In this recipe, kheema is cooked with aromatic spices and herbs, and then smoked to give it an intense mouth watering flavor!!
Tip: Cooking in pressure cooker will give kheema a softer texture.
