Can’t wait to be back at Biggers Market with their absolutely amazing pumpkins. We are making flower arrangements with no carving!!

Where you place your stems in a tape grid does make a difference as to how your flowers sit in the vase.

Placing a flower on the edge of the tape grid can allow for a stronger angle. While placing the stem more in the center, make makes the angle more upright.

Give it a try and see if you see the difference 💐

A garden-style arrangement isn’t about making every flower fit perfectly—it’s about creating movement and letting the flowers feel natural. 🌸

3 things I always keep in mind:

🌿 Vary the heights — not every flower needs to sit at the same level. Tuck some flowers lower into the design.

🌸 Mix flower sizes — combine large focal blooms with smaller flowers to create depth and interest.

🌱 Let some flowers reach outside the shape. Those little “wild” moments are what make an arrangement feel like it was just gathered from the garden.

Have you ever felt intimidated using a floral frog? The trick is starting with a sturdy base and building a nest with flowers to create structure.

This mechanic (a tool that florists use to keep flowers where you place them) is one that might need a few rounds of practice to master.

But if you get the hang of it, it’s a mechanic you can use over and over again💐
