Cedar Blanks!

Cut and sorted a few blanks from Eastern Red Cedar.

These make excellent pen blanks and are a bit over 3/4" wide. Sizes vary from 3"-6".

Also have wider spindles and some shorter bottle stopper blanks as well.

Prices start at $1.50 per blank. Or buy the whole lot!

"Walnut bowl in progress"

Testing out some new video equipment and my filming skills, I started on this walnut bowl cut from a piece of firewood scrap from . Thanks to for helping fill some cracks. The other half of the piece made a very nice 11"x4" bowl blank (which is currently for sale!). Contact us for woodturning blanks. We have fresh live edge blanks as well as kiln dried pieces. "First Bowl Customer!"

Helped my wife at a Flea Market today and ended up taking some woodturning items to display. Ended up pricing some items and sold my first bowl! Super excited to have my first sale. It lit another spark and now I want to do more turning!

After a week of exploring NC sawmills and woodshops, we have been busy gathering material for turning blanks. Currently have a nice selection of both green/air dried, as well as kiln dried wood for your turning projects.

"Short Stop at Stanley's Sawmill"

Made a pitstop and met Bryan over at Stanley's Sawmill ().

What an awesome facility! Ended up grabbing a few pieces to bring home to mill for blanks. I also got myself a T Shirt!Great hospitality and wonderful pieces of art over in Charlotte. Can't wait for the next trip!
