A lot of people do not realize what it actually takes to properly restore old prefinished hardwood floors. 🛠️✨

It is not just about sanding. It starts with deep gap decontamination and testing custom stains to find the perfect shade for the house. From there, we use precision dust contained equipment to level out old micro bevels before laying down a flawless commercial grade finish.

This residential project features 1,222 square feet of Red Oak brought back to life, along with a full staircase restoration including 28 treads and the landing. We deep cleaned the gaps with HEPA vacuums, applied a full surface trowel fill, and custom blended the stain at a 1 to 1 ratio of Provincial and Classic Grey. To ensure this transformation lasts, we sealed it with Loba EasyPrime and protected everything with two coats of Loba 2K Duo commercial waterborne finish.

The final satin glow completely transforms the scale and feel of the entire home.
