Final call for my website closing sale. Everything must go by October 31, 2022. New mark downs on remaining finished and unfinished samples and all other items. My website is www.hollyhillquiltshoppe.com. Don’t forget to look throughout the website to find lots of good finds. It’s starting to wind down. Since this is a complete closing sale I am not tracking down old patterns from years ago. What I have to offer is showing on my website. Make sure you notice the quantities showing on hand before submitting an order. If the item shows 0 that means it’s sold out and do not order that item. I have other responsibilities and may not get the item deleted in time. Thank you - Jan

I’ve added a variety of cuts for Corey Yoder’s Pepper & Flax to my website closing sale. Each entire cut is listed on the website. My website is www.hollyhillquiltshoppe.com and you will find them under Go Shopping and then click on Sale Fabrics. The quantity for each cut is listed on each item. Once the item says ZERO please do not submit an order. Credit card only. Do not use PayPal. PayPal automatically deducts and if someone doesn’t notice the quantity on hand said ZERO when they ordered I have to then go back and spend time submitting refunds. So please use Credit Card only. Thank you. - Jan

Another finished quilt I will be listing for sale on the website later today. It measures 80” x 80” and features a combination of Bonnie & Camille Wovens and cottons. Very elegant and soft. Make sure you’re on my email list or check out the Closing Sale section of my website www.hollyhillquiltshoppe.com. I’ll be closing down the website end of the month - at least that’s the plan. I keep finding stuff! The pattern section alone has a lot to sell off! Btw I don’t have any patterns or kits of this finished quilt. Im selling the finished quilt only. Thank you everyone - Jan

Hello! If you’ve been following my last couple of posts, you know that I am closing down my website end of August. I closed my brick and mortar in 2019.

As I clean out what’s left I put together one kit of this gorgeous Laura Heine project called, “Perfect Form.” There is only one kit available. The kit retails for $350.00 but for my closing sale I’m letting it go for $287.00.

This is a collection of Westminster, Free Spirit and Michael Miller fabrics along with designers Tula Pink, Patrick Jacob and Zen Chic. There is over 24 yds of fabric in this kit. I have included the pattern, all the fabrics, 5yds or steam-a-seam, and Pattern Ease to trace the form. Also included are motifs already cut out and some fabrics already have the fusible ironed on. These fabrics are one of a kind and “vintage” as Westminster fabrics was shut down in 2018 so you won’t find one like this anywhere else. There are so many fabrics in this kit I had to include several pictures so swipe to see all the gorgeous fabrics. Again I only have ONE kit. Once the quantity displayed on the website says ZERO or “0” do not place an order. I do this to make sure I don’t get double orders for a single product. You can find the kit on my website www.hollyhillquiltshoppe.com and enter the number 10097887. Please also know that because I’m shutting down my website, I am not carrying patterns and items you may have found on Pinterest from the years I had a brick and mortar store. Most of those images are from as far back as 2010. Since I am closing down the site I’m not carrying all that inventory anymore. Thank you so much. - Jan

Merry Christmas little buddy. Chance and I are doing absolutely nothing but staying in bed listening to Christmas music and watching a few movies. It was supposed to snow last night but hasn’t yet. At 47 my thoughts about this day have been changing for the last few years. When we had the stores, Christmas was somewhat of a stressful time as we always had the pressure of “oh we have to be open on the 26th” that it was hard to remain present and in the moment of this day. This is why I have been refraining from posting product. I figure you get enough of that in your feed - Instagram and Facebook used to be where people shared their family photos, their accomplishments, reconnected with friends …instead of talking over eachother with sales pitches, crafted product placement and other things I won’t go into. So today, Chance and I (along with my mom and family - she’s spending the day doing her sewing thing) want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. May today be filled with peace of mind, celebrating the real reason of the season, cooperation from loved ones 😂 and spending good quality time doing something you love!

A Christmas toast to everyone named Lacey, Erica or Tiffany who lives in a Oregon black & white urban farmhouse, has a Costco wreath, watches endless Hallmark movies and obsesses over the perfect filter. 😂😂😂❤️💚✅

Hello everyone. It’s Brian here with a little glimpse of my room. Seeew, I’ve got a little story to tell about my bedroom and the significance of it for me this year. For you see, it was 2019 and I was so lucky to be able to return to Florida to work for the Christmas decorating department known as Holiday Services at Disney. It’s grueling work and the schedule is exhausting. 10pm until 8am. But what was supposed to be an amazing experience turned catastrophic when I fell into the forks of a forklift and broke my foot. Having just relocated to Florida I didn’t have a bed yet. My mom ordered me a hospital bed complete with bed rails. So that first Christmas was spent isolated and alone. COVID happened and Christmas 2020 was spent giving up my lease and finding a smaller place to hopefully survive. I finally decided to move back to Oregon and this year I finally have a job that provides a cozy room for the time being! My mon has decided to pass down one of the Shoppe’s original ladders to me and I had to hang two of her quilts - Posh Santa & The Giving Tree - which are kits on the website) for an extra cozy vibe. It will travel with me wherever I end up! Pardon me while I take a quick nap!

Happy Thanksgiving. 🍽🦃🍁 I stopped by our last location in Charbonneau to pick up a freshly baked Apple and Pumpkin Pie from yesterday. I love a fresh baked pie from a small business! Even though we are no longer their neighbor I hope many of our local customers here in the PNW continue to support them. Thanksgiving is usually when we start putting up the Christmas decor at my mom’s place. I happened to find the sign down in Florida and so for the first time since 2019 it has a little home in my mom’s entryway. The quilt projects were gifts she sent to me in 2020 and all I know is they were made with Juniper collection from Moda. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Thanksgiving and spending the day making memories that you can reflect on for years to come. - Brian

A long time ago in 2005 we began Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile right here in this location. I happened to be in the neighborhood the other night and was taking in all the changes. It’s kind of like when you return home and seek out your childhood houses! Prior to us opening, the main space of the building was part of the knit shop - which was where the florist is now (the little black awning to the left). It was quaint and cozy, something I treasure. When Ruth gave up her last bit of space she was using as her knit shop to us in 2007, we expanded into the other side of the building. Remember that? Then when we relocated across the street in 2008 to a brand new larger space, this location in the photo would become our home decor store, Pickleweed and later the Christmas store, “Boughs of Holly.” I loved our display windows and honestly they were better than the windows on the large store because they were at the level of the pedestrians. I spent many nights sleeping on the floor upstairs after a long night of changing up several displays! In fact, I’ve spent a lot of nights sleeping on floors. 😂😂😂 Today the original location is now a bar, as is much of the historic district of Willamette…bars, restaurants, salons, lawyers, doctors, real estate/mortgage offices. The odd thing is they have flags up along the street that say “dining and shopping.” With the exception of one store which is away from the main area (kind of took our vendors and style), shopping is non-existent. The street, which once was home to our stores, gift shops, a tea shop, a pottery shop….trees 😂…now feels empty, lacking humble charm and creativity. Just a random trip down memory lane tonight - Brian
