There’s no such thing as too much of a good thing when it’s a good thing! IYKYK. 😎 and my love for midwinter pansies overruled my common sense of having a no maintenance container garden. But for the joy they bring I’m OK to have to water 💦 💦💦. • fill half of the container with chunky bark mix, not.dyed.mulch! • I am team MiracleGro moisture control potting soil! There is much controversy out there on the worldwide experts🙄, but from what I can tell from your comments and messages, I don’t think overwatering is going to be a problem.
• fill the rest of your container garden with the soil, add your photo to or go ahead and run to Walmart and buy a $3.29 cell pack of pansies to brighten up these winter days!

In the spring and summer, this container garden is full of bright green creeping Jenny and it just looks so great with the Japanese maple leafs! 🍁 but I still wanted to spruce it up to give life on these dreary winter days. Had to get creative and it worked out great! It is crazy how much I love these container gardens! 🩷 #

It is always great to make your life easier. It’s been a rough winter in middle Tennessee, no reason for your container gardens to look less than lovely. I don’t know about you, I am absolutely in love with how these look.

Always make sure your containers have a way to drain the water. Holes in planters are good, holes in pockets are bad!🕶️☀️🌸🌺
