This is the first time that the large barn has been empty of books in over forty years! This was the fresh produce Barn for Kulick's Grocery following the turn of the last century. It was specially constructed to rest above the Ashuelot, with slight openings in the floor boards, to keep produce cool. Brilliant engineering that has weathered spring floods and hurricanes for well over a century .
The second image shows the original counter which has left the building. Sad.
The final image is the little barn that we made into a POP UP SHOP and in which Marie Lovley had her little boutique. This small barn was the HORSE STALL for Kulick's delivery wagon. The little window permitted their horse to look out on the river.
Everything is empty now.
The sale completed this hour.

Book store give away! Today
10-1p the book barn will be open with all books free to good homes! Books only may be taken. Please bring your own bags or boxes and be respectful and kind like most readers!

This absolutely beautiful antique, enamel stove that was a centerpiece of our shop's coffee/tea area is now available. We are asking $150

Private message. It is classic, gas, was working when it arrived and has been used as display only. A perfect focus in a vintage shop.

Our beautiful display cases are on their way to a new home. Barry Dietz, the librarian for Wi******er's Conant Library, worked with a team to move them out yesterday. They will now house special exhibits at the library. SO HAPPY to see them get a new life right here in the town where they have served for so long.

PIPER IS NOT MISSING HER PURSE
It has been found! Too much packing and moving about so it just hasn't been seen!

PIPER IS MISSING HER PURSE
She last had it at the shop on Tuesday.
This was the day when we had appointed and invited regulars helping clear out the stock.
It is a shoulder bag with a LIGHTHOUSE design. It has her asthma inhaler, her ID and other important things.
If you removed her bag,
without realizing what it was, please bring it back Friday.
We are there 10-1.
