Divine’s 5k first annual event “Shimmer and Shine”was a great success. With roughly 50 participants and volunteers coming from all over NC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio. We like to thank our sponsors ATV Construction, Paula Vaughan (Holbrook), Melanie Dawn Oakley & Amy Owens Welch with Royal Majestic Miss North Carolina, and Sheri Martin. With their contributions all overhead and operating cost were taken care off. This is going to allow us to present a check for our charity. While there are still requests coming in for donations and shirt orders we do not have an exact figure yet. Judith Holbrook whom this event was dedicated to passed on June 15, 2022. So this will indicate our cut off for the year. A check will be presented to Ohio State University in July.
