We’re getting everything ready for Arts on Fire this Sunday.

One of the things we enjoy most about an in-person event is giving people the opportunity to pick up the pieces, see the individual layers, and notice details that photographs don’t always capture.

We’ll be at Mixxer from 1–7 PM with layered wood art, engraved boards, river boards, and other handmade work. Stop by the Ole Slewfoot booth and take a closer look.

Arts on Fire is one week away!

We’re gathering the pieces we’ll bring to Mixxer, including new layered wood art, engraved serving boards, river boards, and a few other Ole Slewfoot creations.

If you’ve been wanting to see the detail and depth of these pieces in person, this is a great opportunity. Join us Sunday, September 13, from 1–7 PM—and come hungry, because the Winston-Salem Food Truck Festival will be right nearby.

Now that the song is stuck in your head…

Our layered 867-5309 wall art is available in two sizes. The small version measures approximately 11½ × 5 inches, while the large version measures approximately 16 × 8 inches.

Both use multiple cut layers to create the raised lettering, outlines, and shadows. They make a fun gift for anyone who immediately knows whose number this is.

The dimension is what makes layered wood art come alive.

The Beekeeping Gnome and Guitar Tree are each assembled from six individually cut layers. From straight on, the layers create the complete design. From the side, you can see the depth, shadows, and small details that give each piece its character.

Which one is more your style—the playful gnome or the music-inspired tree?

Time for something new.

Our Honeycomb Clock combines four individually cut layers with a working clock movement. The open honeycomb pattern creates real depth and shadows, while the warm yellows and oranges make it a bright focal point on the wall.

It measures approximately 15½ inches square and is available now in the Ole Slewfoot shop.
